Leader of the Pakistan-based terrorist
outfit Hizbul Mujahideen has said the 'Jihad' will continue as long as
India does not recognise the whole of Kashmir as "a disputed territory,
accept the role of Pakistan and Kashmiris in meaningful tripartite talks
and resolve the issue through UN resolutions."
Stating that his group was not
opposed to talks, diplomacy or political resolution of Kashmir issue with
India, Sayed Salahuddin said "however, the party that emerged dominant
in the battlefield could emerge successful at the negotiating table."
He was speaking at a prayer meeting
in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir's capital Muzafarabad to mourn the death of
the terror outfit's commander Saiful Islam, who was killed in an encounter
with the police in Jammu and Kashmir few days ago.
In the meeting, the Punjab Province
leader of Pakistan's hardline Islamist alliance Muthahida Majlis Amal,
Hafiz Muhammad Idrees has reaffirmed MMA's support to conduct jihad in
Jammu and Kashmir.
Idrees also warned India
that if it attacked Pakistan at the behest of the Unites States, political
parties and people of Pakistan would bury their differences and fight to
defend their country, local daily Dawn reported.
"I want to convey to the Mujahideen
and the mothers, sisters of Kashmir that even if Pakistani rulers committed
any mistake, we will not leave you alone. Pakistanis will shed their blood
with your blood," Idrees said.
Earlier, a rival faction of the
Hizbul organised a memorial meeting to mourn the death of Majid Dar, the
former "Commander" of Hizbul who broke away from the ranks of the outfit.
