Sir, - Late Hiteswar Saikia, former
Chief Minister once declared that there were 30 lakh Bangladeshis in Assam,
but later on he withdrew his statement. Now Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi
says that there is not a single Bangladeshi in Assam. One day, we will
be governed by Bangladeshis.
Not only Assam but the entire North
East is trapped by Bangladeshis. We are killing our brothers allowing the
aliens to live in. The recent attacks on Biharis and their departure was
filled in by the Bangladeshis. Political leaders will do nothing. As Assam
is the strong base of Congress (the only secular party in India) they will
never antagonise their vote bank. It is reported by group of ministers
that 40 Assembly seats are in aliens' grip. Then how is it possible for
the political leaders to oust them ? Now it is time for the people of Assam
to find a solution, otherwise the day is not far behind, when we will become
minority in our own land. -
