Maoists threaten to abduct, kill politicians
and film whole process ---- After virtually dethroning the Nepal King, the
Maoists have now shifted their focus to Bihar. At a recently held meeting
in Rajgir, Nepali and Indian Maoists sat together and chalked out a blueprint
to create mayhem in Bihar.
Elusive Nepali leader Prachanda himself attended
the massive rally of ultra Left outfits from Bihar and Nepal to lay down the
roadmap for violent action - including attack on the State's political leadership
and Government establishments.
Following the meeting, the Maoists declared
that they would abduct politicians in Bihar and kill them. They have also
threatened to blow up the State Assembly, the Secretariat as well as the official
residence of the Chief Minister and 15 out of 30 targeted police stations
within a span of two months, beginning from May 29.
The meeting clearly indicated that the Maoists
from both sides of the border were working in tandem, and India could see
stepped up violence in the days to come.
According to a statement signed by Maoist
Press-in charge Ranjana Kumari, a three-day meeting was held on Chainpur hills
in Rajgir recently to chalk out plans to attack the State Secretariat as well
as the Assembly buildings.
The release quoted Prachanda as criticising
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his policies. He also appealed to end the
present Bihar regime on the pattern of Royal Nepali rule.
"Thousands of Maoists, including top
Naxal leaders and leaders of Nepali Maoists' took part in the meeting,"
the release said. Besides Prachanda, the other Maoist leaders, who participated
in the important meeting, included Chunnu Sharma, Sunil Singh, Ravikant Dhobia,
Kunal Sharma, Ramkishore Singh, Vijay Kannu, Munna Kalia, Manoj Albanai, Saiffuddin
among others, said the Press release.
Saying they have made all the preparations,
the Maoists added that they plan to film the whole operation of politicians'
abductions and their killing to "send out the message to the oppressing
class", the statement said.
The video recording of all the targeted police
stations has also been done and cadre from outside the State have also reached
their respective destinations for the operations, said the Maoist release.
A few months ago, the dreaded Maoist-outfit
had shocked the entire nation by storming the Jehanabad Jail and getting some
of their top leaders released. More than 350 prisoners had escaped from prison.
Prior to this, they had ransacked Madhuban
town on the Indo-Nepal border while looting banks, police stations, petrol
pumps and attacking the local MP's house.
However, when asked, IG (HQ) Anil Kumar Sinha
expressed his ignorance about any such letter or release received by the police
from the Maoists. Sinha also declared that the State Government had made foolproof
security arrangements in the State.
