Christian groups in Kerala are uping their
conversion machinery. The target of the Christians and terrorists have always
been the Sabarimala and Guruvayur temples of Kerala where crores of Hindus
irrespective of caste, creed, gender or colour worship Lord Ayyappa and Krishna.
The idol of Mahavishnu in Guruvayur is the one that was worshipped by Krishna
and was placed in Guruvayur after Dwaraka was submerged.
As evil designs to target Sabarimala are still
going on, the Christian groups made a daring attempt at conversion, right
in front of Guruvayur temple, but for the timely intervention of local RSS,
BJP and HAV activists, a major calamity would have taken place.
A number of aged and orphaned devotees live
in the vicinity of the Guruvayur temple. They eat the prasad of the Lord,
sing bhajans all through the day and lie down at Melapathur Auditorium in
front of the temple. Their life is totally immersed in the Lord. On August
8, out of blue and like a Tsunami, Pastor C.L. Jacob of Emmanuel centre, Palayur,
and a group of Christian ruffians came in two ambulances and started evicting
16 odd aged devotees and forcing them into the ambulances. The aged persons
including women, who have been in the service of Lord Guruvayurappan for three
to four decades ,resisted the move to leave the temple and appealed to the
Lord for help. They knew that the evil design of Pastor Jacob was to convert
the entire group to Christianity. Maybe as per divine ordination, a Sanghik
of the RSS was going on nearby. Hearing the commotion, the swayamsevaks rushed
to the scene. Seeing the RSS men, the Christian ruffians backtracked. By then
the local Sub-Inspector Premanand Krishna arrived. He ordered the Pastor and
the group to go away and released the hapless devotees.
Immediately RSS, HAV and BJP cadres led by
Sreekumar and BJP Municipal Councillor Sobha Harinarayanan marched to the
Emmanuel Centre, Palayur, and demanded apology for the conversion bid. They
also demanded from the ruling LDF framing of strong anti-conversion laws.
Meanwhile, RSS leaders V. Venugopal and N.D. Aryan started an indefinite fast
at the temple demanding probe into the conversion bid.
But the soul-harvesting drama had its causality.
70-year-old Sundaram died of suffocation and cardiac arrest due to the pushing
and pulling by the Christian goondas. Also 65-year-old Ammini committed suicide
due to the fear psycosis and threat of future conversion. She had 'Vaka Charthu'
darshan of Krishna on 12th, listened to the 'Lalitha Sahsarnama' archana,
had lunch at the temple and jumped in front of the Guruvayur-Kochi train.
In another major incident, Neena Kumari of
Kochi, who had gone to the Potta Christian Dhyana Kendra at Muringoor, was
found dead at the centre. Two days prior to her death, her house received
an anonymous call stating that her life was under threat, and asked her family
to bring her back, but her family ignored the call. Three days later, the
family got a message that Neena Kumari had died of breathlessness. Due to
the high connections of the Christian centre, police did not conduct post-mortem
or register a case. The body was cremated without even showing it to relatives
and local people.
Now Jessy Johnson, who was Neena's roommate
in the centre, has disclosed to the media that she was witness to Neena being
drugged, raped and killed. She disclosed that she escaped from the centre
fearing for her life and she asked for police protection. She also informed
that Rs two lakh which Neena had with her, have also been confiscated by the
Kendra.
Due to several complaints of rape and murder
at the Potta Centre, the High Court has ordered probe by a Special Investigation
Team. But due to the political and bureaucratic connections of the Christian
centre, this probe is going on at snail's pace.
The late Pope John Paul II had seeked a public
apology from the world civilisation for atrocities committed by the church
in propagation of Christianity, but in a politically mature and supposedly
left stronghold of Kerala, scores of innocent people, both Hindus and Christians,
are being murdered by preachers, pastors, conversion centres and Dhyana Kendras.
Will the present Pope and Prakash Karat take a dip in the Ganga to wash away
these sins?
