The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and all its
affiliated bodies including the BJP, on Tuesday demanded that the Crime Branch
of Orissa Police must quiz Congress Rajya Sabha MP and former IAS officer
Radhakant Nayak for his alleged role in Swami Laxmananda Saraswati murder
case.
The hard-hitting reaction of the Sangh Pariwar
came following media reports over the Crime Branch probe into the murder case.
"The investigating officials must quiz
Nayak, who is taking shelter at 10 Janpath since the murder of Swamiji,"
a senior RSS leader said.
VHP leaders said a test on Nayak would divulge
a lot of information on the murder case. "He should be arrested immediately,"
they added.
BJP MPs from Orissa, who had raised this issue
in the Parliament, however further reiterated that Nayak was the killer and
conspirator. "If Nayak, has no role, then, why is he not coming out of
Delhi to face the probe," several BJP MPs added.
