"These three States are moving ahead with 'Development Mantra' with the overwhelming support from the public," Singh, who came here on a poll visit, told the reporters while replying to a question.

He said Gujarat has set example in terms of industrial investment and attainment of self-independence. Singh claimed similarly, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are progressing fast with the implementation of its development-oriented schemes to rank among developed States.

"Chouhan draws attention of entire India through his Ladali Lakshmi Yojana and this is the reason why it gets place in the manifesto of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)," he said.

The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister said he along with his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Shivraj Singh Chouhan would create hat trick akin to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

"I and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will become more confident after creating hat trick," Singh said..

He was asked that Modi always remained in media headlines due to his image and statements in comparison with other Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled States' Chief Ministers. "Modi is senior to us and made a spectacular hat trick in Gujarat," he said. He claimed that following the West Bengal Model, the BJP has moved ahead to play a long innings in power.
