As the hearing on the Hijab row continues in Karnataka high court continues, Youth Congress national spokesperson Suraiyya Anjum received threat calls from unknown numbers.

Suraiyya who said that Education is more important than Hijab claimed that she was abused and threatened for speaking to the media on the issue.

Speaking to the media, she had said that she is a Muslim but after she steps out of the house, she is a proud Indian first.

Anjum claims that after the statement she began receiving threat calls from unknown numbers. She approached the Police officials on Thursday and lodged a complaint.
