Pakistan's top nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan has said his
country's missiles were capable of targeting every Indian city 'm
case of a war.

In an interview with the Jeddah-based Urdu News, the scientist
said those who had been conducting nuclear tests during the last
40 years were now asking Pakistan to sign a nuclear test ban
treaty. Pakistan, he felt, should keep its options open and not
become a signatory. Khan's statement came just two days before
assumption of power in India by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),
known for its pro- bomb policies.

Pakistan's premier nuclear scientist said the country was
prepared o give a proper response to any future nuclear test
by India. He said in case Pakistan was attacked, every Indian
city was within the reach of Pakistani smiles.
