Shri H. V. Seshadri,. Sarkaryavah of RSS, in a congratulatory
letter to the Prime Minister, Shri Atal ,Behari Vajpayee, after
the successful nuclear - implosions has said that "all the world
has got a loud and clear message that India can no more be
treated as a second or third rate nation now".
Appreciating the strict secrecy observed till the announcement of
the tests by Shri Vajpayee, Shri Seshadri said that even the
modem equipment and the scientists operating it in advanced
countries like America could not detect it. Even their
intelligence agencies failed to smell it. "This secrecy is very
praiseworthy," he said.
This historic event has also raised the euphoria of self-help in
every Indian's heart and this is the golden opportunity to direct
him to be self-reliant and proud of his work in his respective
field. "I humbly appeal to you," he said, "that under your,
distinguished leadership the Central Government should implement
all the policies forcefully and honestly to raise- the common
manes morale."
"I again thank you, your Government and all the scientists and
bureaucrats associated with the famous nuclear implosions. I also
pray to God that He blesses all your efforts of national
reconstruction." Meanwhile, RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri K.S.
Sudarshan has also congratulated the Government and the
scientists for the successful N-tests.
