VHP decides to file defamation suit
against The Hindu and the Indian Express:
Strongly objecting to the wild allegations
that Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers hijacked trucks carrying relief materials,
which appeared in the Indian Express and the Hindu, VHP has decided to
file defamation suits against both the publications.
Mr. Dilip Trivedi, General Secretary
VHP, Gujarat unit said this in a press statement issued today. Challenging
both the publications to come up with specific evidence of time, names
and place and the officials and the NGOs to whom the sourcing of facts
is attributed, Mr. Trivedi alleged that these blatant fabrications are
a shameless drive to doubt the universal a claim received by VHP and its
sibling organisations in the Kutch earthquake.
We do not have an affiliate organisation
in Jamnagar as alleged by The Hindu, it is just too much to blame VHP for
the cussedness displayed by a bureaucrat at the Ahmedabad airport as. The
Japanese organisation Amda handed over the relief material to VHP on their
own. The entire AMDA team visit the VHP office and eagerly participated
in a prorgramme where Mr. Ashok Singhal, Acting Chairman, VHP International
was present. This is a strange kind of duress it at all it's a duress,
Mr. Trivedi remarked.
In reality this is a hate campaign
against the VHP and its sibling organisations by panick-stricken Secularist
Taliban Mafia who had presumed a saffron fadeout only to be swamped by
a greater and ceaseless saffron wave, triggered by the kutch earth quake.
Let them be warned that nomatter
what mischievous propaganda their strategically placed moles in the media
may indulge in, the people of India will not bury their rubbish, the refuse
will circulate in the incestuous Secularist Taliban circle, Mr. Trivedi
asserted.
