Bangladeshi miscreants killed two
Indians and kidnapped seven others while two of them were killed by village
defence forces in retaliation in two separate incidents in Tripura since
Wednesday night.
The police said that a group of
Bangladeshi dacoits entered a border village in Khowai subdivision of West
Tripura district on Wednesday night. They were challenged by a village
resistance party and one of the infiltrators was killed in a clash.
The dacoits fled to a neighbouring
village and clashed with another resistance party. One of the dacoits was
killed and some members of the resistance group were injured. One of the
injured later succumbed to his injuries.
In a separate incident, one person
was killed and seven others were kidnapped by another group of Bangladeshi
miscreants at Bishnupur, a border village in North Tripura district, the
police said.
The miscreants, armed with guns
and sharp weapons, raided the village on Wdnesday night and lifted eight
men away to Bangladesh. One of them was shot dead when he tried to resist.

been alerted about the incidents.
