In what could be yet another disappointment
for Indian authorities, CBI sources in Mumbai said Dubai has reportedly
released underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's brother and other top aides.
Members of D-Company, including
Ibrahim's two brothers, Noora and Mushtakeen, were arrested on February
2 in Dubai following Interpol's Red Corner notice.
Dubai authorities have reportedly
asked the released men to leave the country immediately. They are most
likely headed for Pakistan, since they are reported to have passports of
that country.
Officials in Dubai haven't disclosed
anything to the press yet. There is no official confirmation from Indian
authorities as well.
Noora, Mushtakeen and another gangster,
Dossa, are accused in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
