Police in London charged two women
and a man with terrorism offenses Thursday in connection with a suicide
bombing carried out by a British Muslim in Tel Aviv last month.
The attack killed three civilians
and wounded 55 at a cafe on April 29.
The three were charged with "failure
to disclose information about acts of terrorism," and one of the women
was also charged with "aiding, abetting, and counseling acts of terrorism
overseas," police said in a written statement.
Those charged were a 46-year-old
man, a 35-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman, all from Derbyshire in
central England. All three had been arrested on May 2.
All of them are in police custody
in London and will appear in custody at Bow Street Magistrates' Court Friday,
charged under Section 38 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
Police released two other men and
a woman also arrested on the same day.
