At least 15 terrorists were killed
on Thursday in an encounter with security forces in Anantnag district in
south Kashmir, defence sources said.
The encounter began early on Thursday
morning following a tip off about presence of terrorists in Lacchipora
village in Anantnag district, they said.
They said so far 15 terrorists,
believed to be foreigners, have been killed.
The toll could go up as the exact
number could not be ascertained yet since the operation was still continuing,
the sources added.
