The bailiff and police Friday recovered
leading film actress Noor from her father's house who had detained her
for allegedly contracting marriage with a Hindu in Dubai.
Sheraz, father of Noor, said that
his daughter had contracted marriage with a Hindu namely Karm in Dubai.
"We are Muslims and Islam does not allow a Muslim girl to contract marriage
with a Hindu", Sheraz said, adding that her grandfather had also advised
her against the marriage but she did not listen to him.
He said that all the family members
were asleep when the police and bailiff reached the house and took her
to Darul Aman.
Sheraz said that Noor had played
with the honour of the family by contracting marriage with a Hindu against
their wishes. He said they were receiving threats of dire consequences
on phone for restraining Noor from contracting marriage.
Meanwhile, Noor said that her life
was under threat at the hands of her parents.
The Darul Aman authorities took
the cell phone of Noor in possession after the bailiff dropped her in Dar-ul-Aman.
Sources said that Noor wanted special treatment at Darul Aman but the authorities
took her cell phone over which the actress protested but to no avail.
