Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested
two of their colleagues for their involvement in attacks on security forces,
a top police official said today.
Asi Ghulam Rasool Wani, station
house officer at Sogam police station in the district and Abdul Ahad were
arrested two days ago.
The accused were allegedly involved
in the foiled Fidayeen attack on Lalpora police station on Tuesday last,
superintendent of police, Kupwara, S D S Jamwal said.
During interrogation, Wani and Ahad
confessed to their involvement in the attack on Lalpora police station
and the attack on CRPF personnel recently in which two jawans were killed
and four injured. (PTI)
