The chief of Pakistan's Jamaat-e-Islami party, Qazi Hussain Ahmed, has been refused entry into Europe as most Jewish organizations in the region see him as a 'terrorist'.

Dubbed the 'Pakistani Bin Laden', Hussain, who was scheduled to arrive in Europe on Thursday, was refused permission to enter Belgium and the Netherlands.

According to The News, Qazi was invited to visit Brussels and Hague by the Arab European League (AEL), a popular Muslim organization in Europe.

He was to deliver lectures arranged by the AEL to be attended by top Muslim scholars living across Europe.

The Jamaat chief's hosts in Europe were reportedly informed that his entry to the Western European States has been blocked because of 'security reasons'.

The decision to ban Qazi's entry to Europe would apply to his future visits to all 22 EU member States that adhere to the EU Schengen law.

The Schengen Visa is issued with a structured concurrence of all the EU member States except the three Schengen opt outs - the UK, the Sweden and Denmark.
