A website, speaking on behalf of
Al-Qaeda terror network, on Monday claimed that the gunmen who stormed
a luxury apartment in Saudi Arabian city of Al-Khobar killed 10 Indians.
The website alsaha.Fares.Net said
"10 Indians.... among the murderers of our Muslim brothers in Kashmir,"
were killed.
The statement carried on the website
on behalf of the Al-Qaeda terror network also vowed to "cleanse the Arabian
Peninsula of infidels".
"We renew our determination to repel
the crusader forces and their arrogance, to liberate the land of Muslims,
to apply sharia and cleanse the Arabian Peninsula of infidels," the statement
said.
Four terrorists had carried out
the attacks and hostage-taking, it said adding one of the fighters was
killed, naming him as "the hero Nimer bin Suhaj al-Baqmi".
The authenticity of the statement
could not be verified.
The message was signed by the "Al-Qaeda
Organisation in the Arabian Peninsula", headed by Abdul Aziz al-Muqrin,
a Saudi.
Muqrin is most-wanted terror suspect
