''The four suspected terrorists,
including the 19-year-old girl Ishrat Jahan, who were shot dead are innocent
and have been brutally murdered by the fanatic Hindu state in Gujarat.''
This is almost what in the last
few days the `secular' media has convinced the newspaper reading public
about. Here is a peep into how the `secular' media has prevaricated its
way to spread this view.
What are the dispute-free aspects
of the news reports so far? Ishrat was with three men in the car that was
intercepted and two of them were Pakistanis. No dispute. Ishrat disappeared
from the house on May 12 and the shooting incident took place at 4.30 in
the morning of May 15. Obviously Ishrat was with the terrorists for three
days. No dispute. An AK-56 rifle with three full magazines and one magazine,
81 AK-56 live cartridges, two revolvers, a satellite phone, and two mobile
phones and Rs 2 lakhs were all recovered from the blue `Indica' car in
which the four, including Irshat, were travelling. No dispute. The car
had a Maharashtra number plate. Also, the police recovered 25 kg of explosives
and a dozen coconuts which could be used as country grenades. No dispute.
From the undisputed reports obvious
questions follow. Why was this young girl in the company of three men,
including two Pakistanis, suspected LeT terrorists? Why was she with them
in a car carrying pistols, explosives, cartridges, magazines and other
terror substances? Does this not suggest complicity, rather than innocence?
But the `secular' media will not, in the interest of safety of secularism,
ask these palpable questions. For they know the answers and they know that
the questions and the answers hurt the `secular' cause. So don't ask such
questions. To obfuscate, raise some ridiculous questions. See Ishrat's
conduct. The 19-year-old girl, a college student, from a poor family, suddenly
leaves the house, with some spare clothes, on June 12, obviously without
telling anyone. The family admits it did not know where she went. Where
she was and what she was doing till May 15.
Considering she was found on a terror
mission later, was she not then into some undisclosed activity, not known
to the family? But the `secular' media will not ask this obvious question,
for which the obvious answer will be in the affirmative. That will hurt
the cause of secularism! So the `secular' media cries over what good things
others say about her, how she wore salwar kameez! The real issue is not
that, but what Ishrat seemed to be doing secretly without anyone knowing.
But what she did has to be suppressed to save secularism.
Look at the case of Javed, one of
the three men shot dead along with Ishrat. Previously Pranesh Kumar Pillai,
he fell in love with a Muslim and became Javed to marry her. Not the `communal'
Gujarat police, but the `secular' Pune police, had recovered from Javed's
house two passports, one in the name of Pranesh, and another in the name
of Javed. It also found documents confirming that he had used a third alias,
Sayyad Abdul Wahid. Again the `secular' police at Pune, not the `communal'
Gujarat police, found that Javed and Ishrat had stayed in the same suburb,
thus may not be strangers. Javed's own sister has confirmed to the Pune
police that one of the two Pakistani terrorists killed at Ahmedabad, had
stayed with Javed. Nothing points to his innocence. Everything indicates
the contrary. With all this the father of Javed claims he was innocent,
and that is the headlines in most `secular' media's headlines, not the
`secular' Pune police version.
Most `secular' media have held back
these critical findings of the Pune police! If not, obviously the cause
of secularism will be hurt! So suppress Pune police version and publish
Javed's father's charge so that secularism is protected. See more. "Maharashtra
gives clean chit to Ishrat" banner headlines the `secular' media, a lie
actually. The very next day, the Maharashtra CM's says "no clean chit"
had been given "to Ishrat". But this is buried in small letters on an inside
page. This small, calculated strategy is found necessary to serve the cause
of secularism.
See another example. "Gujarat Police
abducted Ishrat" says a prominent headline. This is the charge made by
a rank communal Muslim leader, a complete lie, which even Ishrat's family
does not dare make. And right under that, but in fine print in the same
media is the statement of the Thane deputy police commissioner, a `secular'
police, that `she left the house on her own'. Even though police statement
should have been the main, or the only, headline, the printed head line
carries the communal Muslim's charge almost as a fact. To save secularism
the `seculars' are compelled to resort to this!
Go on. See how the 'secular' media
also encourages critical witnesses to tell lies. On the first day Ishrat's
mother had said her daughter left the house on May 12 without telling any
one. But seeing how the `secular' media is keen to declare Irshat `innocent'
she began lying that Ishrat left the house for "an interview". See how
the `secular' media suppress the critical admission by Shamima in Ahmedabad.
She told the agencies in Ahmedabad, "I did not know what Ishrat was doing",
admitting almost that no one else knew what Ishrat was up to. Yet not a
word in most of the `secular' media! To save secularism indeed many times
truth needs to be suppressed!
And more. The Gujarat police claim
it has recovered the diary maintained by Javed and Ishrat. "It contains
day to day accounts and travelling accounts", says the Additional Commissioner
of Ahmedabad, an official of the `communal' Gujarat police of course. But
he was speaking of documents, not anything oral. He says that Javed and
Irshat had visited Surat and Ahmedabad in May and went on a surveillance
mission to Gandhinagar. "Account of money was written in Ishrat's hand
writing", he says. He claims Rs 1.06 lakhs had been given by her to Salim,
who was also killed in the shootout. He says ``all four,'' including Ishrat
and Javed, ``have been in touch with the bosses of LeT in Dubai.'' Despite
these specific briefings by the Gujarat police not a word about these critical
facts in the more popular among the `secular' media! So to save secularism,
even documented evidence is suppressed!
Yes the Gujarat government is the
target of `secular' media's intellectual Jihad by lies. They feel justified
to do what they are doing for the noble cause of secularism. But do they
realise the harm they are causing to India? What the world, the Muslim
world, will think of about India, and Hindus? Will they not think we are
a barbaric society and a tribal state like many Muslim states? The ISI
spends millions to convince the Muslims in Pakistan, in India and elsewhere
that those who identify and assert themselves as Hindus are violent and
India is anti-Muslim. The seculars in the media are doing the ISI work
more credibly. Yes, they accomplish this by lying, suppressing the truth.
They have no qualms or guilt doing that. Shame, indeed.
