In the early hours of Tuesday, RSS Karyakartha
and Chirayankeezhu Taluk Kaaryavaha, Sunil Kumar(36)was brutally murdered
by a group of assailants. They came in a Qualis van and stabbed to death.
while he was on his way to take the bundle of Janmabhumi papers. The cold
blood murder took place at 5 am . Police suspect Islamic terrorists NDF behind
the murder. Hartal has been called for in the area today.
Kumar who fled the place seeing the assailants
in the Qualis were hacked by the group near the petrol bunk here. Kumar, a
native of Cherunarakan in Kilimanoor died on way to the medical college hospital
Kumar was the District general secretary of Hindu Aikya vedi also.He was the
agent of Janmabhumi daily in the area. RSS and HAV had called for Hartal onWednesday
in Thiruvananthapuram district.Protest march will start from SreePadmanabha
Temple to Statue junction.The march will start by 10.30.am.

Rajasekharan strongly condemned the killing of Mr Sunil Kumar at Kilimanoor.
Various Hindu Organisations will hold protest
rallies and meetings in the state against the murder and to demand strict
action against the culprits and to bring them before the law, he said in a
statement.
Describing the brutal killing as a premeditated
murder, he said that it was committed to create unrest in the state. They
have eliminated a leader who had been carrying out humanitarian and social
welfare activities and thus became acceptable to the masses.
The crime has been committed with the covert
objective to weaken the confidence of the Hindus and thus to destroy the Hindu
establishments and institutions in the state, he alleged.
He called upon those people who believe in
democratic principles to come forward to condemn and protest against the brutal
murder allegedly committed by the extremist forces which are operating here
to create violence and chaos in the state.
