Muslim leaders from Kashmir are now making
false propagation that agitation started by Hindus has created financial barrier
for them. Even then, the agitation will continue. About a lakh of Hindus got
themselves arrested as a part of the agitation.
The above information was given by Dr. Rajendra
Mishra, convenor of Amarnath Yatra Sangharsha Samiti in a press conference.General
Musharraf talks in favour of Kashmiri Muslims but nobody is bothered about
our woes. At least, the media should understand our feelings. We don't have
anybody in this country to take care of us. Hindus from Jammu are chanting
'Bum Bum Bhole' and raising slogans of 'Vande Mataram', 'Bharatmata ki Jai'
etc.
But Mufti Mohammad Sayyad is misguiding people
by spreading news of Hindus carrying granades and 'Tridents' during the agitation.
In Kistiwada, about 150 shops of Hindus have been burnt; Hindus were never
so aggressive, said Dr. Mishra. He said that whoever supports the agitators
in Jammu, will be lauded by Sree Amarnath Yatra Sangharsha Samiti. The agitation
has not been started by any political party. Sikhs and Gujjars crossing Tavi
River to join the agitation belong to no political party. It is a wrong propaganda
that the Hindu agitation has created financial barrier for Kashmiri Muslims
and they are going to Pakistan from Muzaffarabad.
But if they are really going to Pakistan,
they should go permanently as that is the only solution to Kashmir problem.
The Indian Government has failed in handling terrorism in Kashmir, it has
surrendered to terrorists. Therefore, Muslims should be allowed to go to Pakistan,
said Shri. Ashok Pandit, film producer.
Congress Government's Double Standard !
The accusation of Hindus blocking the way
of trucks transporting goods and creating financial barrier is totally baseless.
It was unnecessarily said that the sale of apple suffered and Muslims had
to bear loss. The Congress Government immediately reimbursed Rs. 2 crores
to Muslims to make good their losses. As a matter of fact, the apples supposed
to be perished due to agitations are still on the trees. Whereas, the Government
has declared curfew and 25 metric tonne mangoes belonging to Hindus have become
rotten. But the Government is not bothered about loss of Hindus, said Dr.
