Dear Mr. Bloeria,
I had the pleasure of bumping into you at
Delhi airport, in sept 2008.
I have been visiting J&K for the last
41 years and have the following thoughts to share with you.
Why the following facts are not presented
to the Indian Media and Indian Civil Soceity, Indian Media, Indian people?
The entire budget of the J&K Govt is about
Rs 13,500 Cr per year. Revenue collection is about Rs. 1,500 Cr per year.
Balance Rs. 12,000 Cr per year comes as a grant from the Delhi Central Govt!
One should compare this with how much grant do the people of the 5-Bimaru
States of India get?
All this for ONLY 1.1 Cr people of J&K!
You will not find and any poor person in Kashmir.
Everyone has his own home. We are taking the bread from the poor of India
and feeding to the Rich in J&K?
The salary and wages of all J&K Govt employees
is about Rs. 5,000 Cr per year. It is roughly calculated that nearly 30% of
J&K's population lives off this amount!
Pakistan was created in 1947 as an 'Islamic
State', Since many years, nearly 25 or more, although India is a secular country.
'Ethenic Cleansing' has been going on in the Valley of Kashmir. If the people
of Kashmir (about 6 million, mostly muslims, in India's population of nearly
1130 million) are unhappy, they are free to permanently migrate to the Islamic
Pakistan.
Why is so much publicity and importance given
to seperatists? No where in the world they would be allowed to roam around
freely and even the TV and print media are allowed to interview them! Seperatists
as well as citizens who wish to divide the country are enemies of the State
and should be completely marginalized, in a peaceful manner. They should be
completely blocked and blanked out as far as media and freedom of anti-India
expresion is concerned.
Does the average Indian know that the Haj
Subsidy of nearly Rs. 2,000 Cr per year is ONLY prevalent in India. Not in
Pakistan, not in Saudi, Not in Indonesia? Not in other Islamic or other countries
of the world!WHY? WHY?. Why are the rest of Indians treated like cattle? Are
we not going against the Indian Constitution of being a secular state? Is
this fair to the rest of the non-muslims in India numbering about 1150 million
people?
One should find out the various properties
handed over to the Haj Board at various places in India. Who has given the
land? Who has paid for the buildings? Why are there permanent structuures,
when the Haj is ONLY for 10 days of the Year? Who payes for the maintenance
of these properties? Why are Anti-India type of Media allowed to exist openly
in J&K. They seem to be nutured, encouraged and allowed any amount of
freedom, by the Centre and State Govts., even if it is Anti-India.
Just one example....Have you seen the last
5-10 years of publications of Greater Kashmir? See www.greaterkashmir.com!
Have you seen the website of this news paper, which comes out every day in
English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italien, Japanes, Korean, Portugese
and Spanish! Even the largest Indian newspapers have only edition in one language?
Who is financing these guys to be so bold & Anti-National? Only the Peoples
Daily in Beijing, has a large number of language editions, see www.peoplesdaily.com.
They are owned by the Chinese Govt. I have been their Guest in China.
Would you as an Indian, be allowed to shout
Anti UAE, Anti Singapore, Anti Malaysia, Anti US, Anti UK, Anti Chinese(or
any other country) and hoist the Indian flag in any other country in the world?
India is the only ridiculous Nation where such nonsense is encouraged, photographed
and shown on National TV, but not given to serious after-action! People in
Kashmir have Billions of $'s worth of property in India. They talk of 'Azadi'.
Are they ready to leave all these properties back for the so called Indians,
in India? Just like the Hindu-pandits have had to do, by force in the Valley
during 1988 to 1999?
I am unable to undestand what goes on in the
minds of Indian Leadership, both in Govt as well as in Politics.
I have seen with dismay what has happened
in the last 41 years. Maybe it is time for the ordinary citizen of India to
know the facts too!
Let them decide, after all we are still a
Democracy.
With Regards,
Krishan
