After Pakistan being caught ignorant about
the presence of the world's most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden, its Inter-Services
Intelligence (ISI) has whisked away India's most wanted gangster-turned-terrorist
-- Dawood Ibrahim -- from the country.
Headlines Today accessed a secret intelligence dossier which says that the
ISI has shifted the notorious underworld kingpin to Azerbaijan or Tajakistan.
He has been moved out to keep him from the post-Laden killing troubles.
Ibrahim's drug network has spread its tentacles in these two countries giving
him a solid base in the region. Indian intelligence agencies have interpreted
it as a deliberate attempt to deflect pressure on Pakistan about the Indian
underworld don's presence.
Ibrahim has already returned to the Indo-Pak discourse in a big way after
the Geronimo mission. His name figures in the list of over 40 criminals that
India wants Pakistan to hand over.
