Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria put up a special request on Twitter on Friday.
Kaneria, the second hindu cricketer after Anil Dalpat and the seventh non-Muslim cricketer overall, to represent Pakistan in international cricket requested Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh to make a video to help the minorities in Pakistan as the Coronavirus pandemic rages on.
Kaneria, who played 61 Tests and 18 ODIs for Pakistan, took to Twitter to urge his Indian counterparts to do this. He also shared a link through which people can donate to help Pakistan's minorities during this crisis.
This comes after Yuvraj and Harbhajan posted twitter messages, asking people to help former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi's foundation, which has joined the fight against the pandemic in Pakistan.
"I request @YUVSTRONG12 and @harbhajan_singh to make a video for the minorities living in Pakistan as well. They need your help in this moment of #coronacrisis. People can donate here at," Kaneria wrote on the social media platform.

Yuvraj and Harbhajan had faced flak from social media users in India for their appeal to help Afridi's foundation.
That prompted Yuvraj, on Wednesday, to put out a clarification, saying he never intended to hurt anyone's feelings and his call for help has been "blown out of proportion".
"I really don't understand how a message to help the most vulnerable gets blown out of proportion! All I tried to achieve via that message was that to help people in our respective countries by providing healthcare, my intention was not to hurt anyone's feelings," Yuvraj tweeted on Wednesday.
"I am an Indian and I will always bleed blue and will always stand for humanity. Jai hind," he added.

On Thursday, Harbhajan also reacted to the criticism and uploaded a video on his Twitter handle showing Sikhs preparing and distributing food to people in England. Harbhajan echoed Yuvraj's sentiment that in these unprecedented times, humanity comes first.
"No religion, no cast, only humanity...that's what it is...stay safe stay home...spread love not hate or virus...let's pray for every single one...May Waheguru bless us all," he wrote along with the video.
