Latest in the series of attacks on Hindu temples in Jharkand, Shiva temples in Dumka and Lohardaga were vandalised by anti-socials. The premises of the temples were defiled by throwing cow meat, said reports. There have been widespread attacks on temples in the state in recent days.

The attack took place on a Shiva temple near the Dewari Patra forest area in Kundi. The Shiva lingam in the temple was uprooted and replaced by anti-socials. There have been several attacks on this temple before. Local residents have come forward with a strong protest against the continuous attack on the temple.

Shiva temples at Dumka and Lohardaga have been desecrated. The anti-socials have desecrated the premises of the temple by throwing waste materials including cow’s head. Hindu organizations and believers have come forward with a strong protest against the incident.
